My feed has been overflowing with gift guides lately, and I figured the world probably doesn’t need yet another one. Instead, I wanted to do something a little different—something that recaps the year in the emerging art sector (my corner of the world) and feels more personal.

I keep a notebook solely for jotting down names of new artists I stumble upon—those I find exciting, those I hope to collect one day, or simply those I want to keep an eye on for the time being. In this letter, I’m sharing my notes on the artists I discovered in 2025, including a few whose works I even managed to acquire.

The first section is a deeper dive into the artists I’ve either collected or studied closely, along with why I think they’re worth paying attention to. The second part is more of a directory—a list of new discoveries I’m planning to explore in greater depth over the coming year(s)..
